Many clients ask what it is like in my head and I find this a very funny question. My head is just like your head - EXCEPT when I am sitting with Spirit. When I was a kid I would just my dreams were just a bit more exciting than my friends, unknowing that I wasn’t dreaming but I was actually just learning to truly connect. For more than 20 years now, we are still connecting and I have to tell you that I still continue to learn something new with Spirit everyday.
If you are trying to enhance your connection yourself, here a few of my methods that may work for you.
I am a wind, water and earth connector. I can feel the vibrations raise from the earth up into my veins when I am connecting ~ and wherever I am connecting. This is not something that comes to people very easily. It does take some practice. To be honest I am still educating myself on the variations of vibrations and frequencies because over the years I am feeling so much m ore and at times; differently. I put myself in a place of true gratitude and empowerment I am in control ; creating my sanctuary within myself and where I am standing. I slowly begin to let the every day stresses and thoughts leave my mind and replace it by focusing on sounds like the birds, the wind, the waves - to the point where those are the only sounds I hear. The sounds will become louder and louder until ultimately, you forget you are physically standing. I breathe in existence, pulses, warmth. This practice truly connects you and separates you at the same time. It opens you up to receive, training your subconscious to co- create with the conscious to make the perfect team. Just like working with Spirit. You have to learn how to work with their frequency - to your frequency to the sitters frequency so that you all make a perfect team.
Spend time in Cemeteries. Yes, I said that. There is something that is so incredibly powerful about connecting on such a different level with those who lay at rest. I will be that person who cleans off graves, picks up tumbled gifts, sits and chats with one or more that I am drawn too. Many may find this morbid, I find it grounding. I can also attest that every single time - I will find a white feather before I leave too! They know and they appreciate the kindness of a stranger.
Yeah - be that woo woo… who cares! My husband really doesn’t have an interest in any of this. It does kind of make it difficult to want to talk about my day when you know he feels the same way I do when he starts talking about pump motors, bolts and screws. blah blah blah. One thing I always remember is that this is MY connection, my journey and My gift and some may understand and some will not. You have to truly be comfortable in your OWN practices and be ok with the fact that some may not be interested in what you are interested in. Don’t take that personal. Do not compare your gifts to anyone else and when yo are connecting with those who are like minded, be aware of those who may want to leach off of your gifts. Listen to yourself and pay attention. Sad, but this is a truth. Not everyone will be happy for you once you begin this incredible journey. WooWoo hard baby!!!
Have a morning “meeting”. Every morning, I try to have the same routine with my connections. I have my coffee, stirring in my gratitude and my thanks for another great day. I have my favorite morning perfume oil that I put on my wrists as I begin to breathe int he morning ahead. I pull my morning oracle card, write in my journal and then take a few moments to sit outside and listen…. truly listen Some mornings are more hectic than others and sometimes, I don’t get to do all that I wish but I have to tell you - I feel it. I need that time and you should make it a point for yourself.
Be patient with yourself. Spirit has a way of testing you at times to see if you are a “right” fit in my opinion. Give yourself time to learn and become familiar with your own Psychic connections and vocabulary. They are different for all of us. Practice with different means of Divination like meditation, psychometry, pyromancy etc.
Relax and enjoy the beautiful journey ahead of you and the connection to the Divine.
